Camila Cabello Admits The Girls In Fifth Harmony Won't Talk To Her Anymore

the gals in Fifth Harmony weren’t very happy when Camila Cabello announced she was leaving the group, and apparently things are still pretty frosty between them. In Camila’s new “Billboard” cover story, she reveals that she hasn’t talked to Ally Brooke Hernandez, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui or Normani Kordei since the split.

Camila insists the girls in the group knew she wasn’t happy. “I was always super open [that] I couldn’t just sing other people’s words and be totally happy with that,” she says. “You have to follow and honor that inner voice. I always encouraged the girls to do the same.” She adds that she had hoped her leaving, “would be a peaceful turning of the page and we would root for each other. But I only got love for them.”

Camila admits that while it may have been easier to just stick with Fifth Harmony and ride out the success, that’s not who she is. “I have it in my DNA,” she notes. “The way my mom raised me, it has always been: Don’t settle. Jump and hope you grow wings on the way down. I feel alive!”
