Demi Lovato is currently single and she seems pretty okay with that. In a new interview with “InStyle” magazine, Demi says being single is helping her learn a lot about herself.
“I’m not suffering because I’m alone,” she tells the mag. “There were many years I was in a relationship and I wasn’t learning about myself. Now I’m learning about what I like, what I need, and what I want.”
And what she likes and wants isn’t necessarily a man. “I’m very fluid, and I think love is love,” she notes. “You can find it in any gender. I like the freedom of being able to flirt with whoever I want.”
And when she finds someone she’s interested in, she certainly doesn’t wait around for that person to come to her. “I’m normally the first one to make the move,” she shares. “I’m always the one who says, ‘Let me get your number.’ Or I slide into their DMs on Instagram.”
