The third installment of the Twilight Saga. Let me begin by saying I am not much of a fan of these movies and have never read the books. However, I don’t hate on people that are big fans. So this movie is just more of the same. Bella loves Edward. He wants to get married. She doesn’t but she does want to become a vampire. Jacob loves her and displays his love by walking around bare chested for the better part of the movie. Who does she pick? Is this really a mystery since the books are a few years old and millions of people read them? This one seemed like more of a transition movie to me. It’s really just setting us up for the final book which has been broken up into two movies.

It’s a little long at 2 hours. Some of the scenes could have been cut down a little. Much better than the second movie. Lots of laughs! Not really.

A few more thoughts: There is a big battle towards the end that was a little disappointing. I’m not sure that I understand the rules. In the Twilight world you can kill a vampire by ripping off their arms and their bodies are made of crystal. Also, when Bella and Edward are starting to cozy up and talking about “relations” it made me very uncomfortable. I think it’s just that so many young girls like these movies so much it felt weird. Be prepared for the next movie because word is it gets pretty steamy.
