If you’re not afraid of being carjacked, you might want to worry about being car-HACKED.
This is a new trend in car thievery that entails some jerk buying a device that jams the signal on your remote keyless keychain.
After he does this, YOU think you locked your car and continue to walk into the store and HE knows you didn’t and jumps in your car and takes off with it, never to be heard from again.
The best way to keep this from happening to you is to make sure you hear the honk that signifies that the door is locked.
Otherwise, it’s not. And you might be out a car. (Spirit Magazine)
